Speaker and author, Maureen Haddock will be presenting at our June conference

With Love, From Iraq: A true story of hope, perseverance, and becoming Canadian

It is the love story of Maysoon and Wajid, who met as teenagers, in a troubled Iraq. Maureen relates thte story, as they remember it, from the perspective of childhood and adolescence, through to adulthood. Inspite of  some harrowing experieinces, their escape stroy is uplifting: it is filled with hope, perseverance, and entrepreneurism. Maysoon and Wajid came With Love, From Irqaq and Canda is richer for their citizenship.

Sandbox Lunch & Learn Sessions   Presented by; Leadership Saskatoon
What is the Sandbox Lunch & Learn? In 2007, Leadership Saskatoon and Volunteer Saskatoon developed a partnership and started a series of Lunch & Learn events in Saskatoon. A need had been voiced for a space to gather community leaders and discover together.

The 2017-2018 Series of Sandbox Lunch & Learns TBA in the Fall
Lunch & Learns run from 12:00-12:50pm at the Sask Abilities Council in Saskatoon. You can bring your lunch or purchase on from the onsite Cafe.
