Administrators of Volunteer Resources-Saskatchewan is an association that unites administrators of volunteer resources to promote best practice, support professional development, facilitate networking and advocate for the profession and its impact in the province.

Purpose

o AVR-SK unites administrators of volunteer resources to promote best practice, support professional development, facilitate networking and advocate for the profession and its impact in the province.

o As a member of this provincial association, you will have a wealth of information right at your finger tips! Through workshops and conferences, newsletters and the AVR-SK website, plus a growing list of professional resources, AVR-SK strives to keep you current in the latest trends in volunteer management. There is also a Mentorship Program for those new to the field.

Goals of AVR-SK

o Provide leadership for administrators of volunteer resources.

o Share and promote professional development opportunities.

o Enhance the effectiveness of the volunteer sector through education, communication and collaborations.

o Create awareness of the positive contributions of the Volunteer Sector.
